At Sunstate Turf Solutions, we specialise in the professional cleaning and maintenance of artificial turf for sports surfaces — including hockey fields, athletics tracks, tennis courts, and more. Based in Bundaberg and servicing Queensland and Northern NSW, we help clubs keep their synthetic surfaces clean, safe, and ready for play all year round.
Our family lives and breathes hockey. Ken, the owner and operator, has played for over 45 years, alongside his partner and their three children — all active hockey players. After relocating from WA to Bundaberg in 2022, they noticed the deteriorating condition of local and regional turf surfaces. From their own club to others across the state, it was clear there was a serious gap in specialised turf cleaning services.
Motivated to solve the problem, they invested in high-grade equipment and innovative cleaning products — including the SMG SportChamp and a water-activated enzyme that effectively removes mould from turf fibres. Today, Sunstate Turf Solutions is proud to offer a safe, reliable and effective solution for synthetic turf maintenance, working with sports facilities from Bundaberg to Coffs Harbour and beyond.
